Delete your PackTheWorld account

This page applies to the PackTheWorld app on Google Play, published by Ludovic Wipier, and to the packtheworld.com website. It is the same account in both cases.
From the app or the website
- Log in to your account.
- Open Impostazioni, then the "Elimina l'account" section.
- Tap "Elimina definitivamente" and confirm with your password. For an account created with Google: log in again with Google, then enter your username.
Deletion is immediate and permanent. All your devices are logged out.
One condition: if one of your bids is leading a market auction, wait for the auction to end; deletion is refused until then.

If you no longer have the app or cannot log in, email [email protected] from the address linked to your account, with the subject "Account deletion" and your username. We reply to confirm the request, then delete the account within 30 days.
We will never ask for your password.
What is deleted

What is kept, and for how long

Your Google Play subscriptions and purchases
Deleting your account cancels your current subscription, whether it was taken on the website or in Google Play, with no refund for the period already started. For a Google Play subscription, check that it shows as cancelled in the Google Play app, under "Payments & subscriptions"; you can also cancel it there before deleting your account. Refunds of purchases made in Google Play are handled by Google, under its refund policy.
Deleting only part of your data
Without closing your account, you can turn off notifications in Settings, make your profile private, remove your friends and discard cards.
